Only 56k north of Christchurch, off State Highway 1 is the Festival Site. Large shade trees characterise the
park surroundings of the well-laid out grounds which include caravan sites with power, an extensive sheltered
area for tents, toilet and shower blocks, lodge with full kitchen and heaps of hot water, washing and drying
facilities, covered BBQ shelters and masses of flat accessible on-site parking. Camp fees are included in the ticket price. |

There are a limited number of carpeted and heated bunk rooms available on a first-come first served basis.
A variety of quality accommodation is also available in and around the nearby Waipara village only 5 minutes from
the Festival site - there is something to suit all budgets and tastes.
Many people bring their own food,
but there are reasonably priced meals available on site, from breakfast to late night suppers... and real coffee! |

The Festival is not weather dependent. There is a large main hall where the Friday night Barn Dance and the
main concerts will be held, separate dining hall and other buildings available for workshops/sessions etc.
We will again be installing a marquee specially for blackboard concerts. |
