2024 Timetable

What happens at the festival?

You'll find a variety of events in our programme. Much of the festival is interactive - grab an instrument and join in - everyone has something to learn and something to contribute!

Concerts

Afternoon concerts are a mix of guest artists’ concerts and blackboard concerts. Evening concerts are more formal and generally provide the main musical focus of the festival, featuring all the main guest artists and more!

Workshops

Informal, educational and fun! Workshops cater to musicians and non-musicians alike. A great learning experience for all attendees.

Blackboard Concerts

An opportunity to play to an appreciative audience while you perform under the eye of our experienced sound technicians – all welcome!

Ceilidh

We feature a Ceilidh (kay-lee) dance, which is a traditional Scottish or Irish social gathering with Gaelic music and dancing. No experience necessary as all the instructions are provided on the night!

Festival Choir

The festival choir is led by an experienced director. A great opportunity to socialise/harmonise and share your love of singing. All will encourage you to give it a go and participate.

Jam Sessions

The camp rings with the sound of music in these informal sessions. Wander around the festival site and find a tunes session for you!

Blind Date

Put your name down to join a band led by a guest artist – practise a song to perform on the main stage on Sunday evening

Children's programme

Children’s Blackboard Concert

The festival children are our next generation of performers. These blackboard concerts provide a concert platform where the children can sing/dance/do instrumentals/tell stories – anything they choose. You are encouraged to encourage your children.

Other children's entertainment:

1) Swimming hole

2) Outward bound course – for parents and older kids alike. Situated at the end of the rugby field.
3) Trampoline

4) Flying fox

5) Art activities

Youth Band

Coached by experienced sound tech and musicians, the youth band performs on the main stage to show off their new skills
