Tamsin will teach an original jig in D major, suited for any tune instrument to learn. It's designed for musicians with some experience, so it might be a bit hard for complete beginners, especially on the violin. The jig contains ornamental features characteristic of Irish music which can make it more interesting for those more advanced players. 

The guitar section will be lead by Phoebe! She'll show you how to tune your guitar to DADGAD, teach the chords, and the rhythm for a jig. If time allows it, we'll try to play the tune with guitar accompaniment at the end.

A written version of the tune and chord pattern will be provided so you can keep practicing after the workshop! This session is a good chance to learn something new and play music together.
