Catering

Catered lunches and dinners are provided by our festival caterers. Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten/dairy-free options are available.

For 2026, if you want a catered meal at the festival, please indicate on your ticket purchase that you will be ordering a catered meal! See full info here for 2026

We also have a coffee truck on site to provide that caffeine hit! Some cabinet food may be available for purchase but we recommend bringing what you need to the site.

Canterbury Folk Festival recommend bringing cash for any purchases at the festival.

Kitchen Facilities

There are multiple kitchen facilities, one in the upper building (Stedfast), and one in the lower buildings near the campsite (Tui). Tui kitchen is right near bathrooms and has a shared eating and lounge area. This kitchen has a double wall oven, hobbs, extractor fan, pantry, two sinks and a kettle.

Each kitchen has a small fridge/freezer available for use, but it's small – campers are advised to bring chilly bins. A large caterers kitchen adjoins the main concert hall and is used by the commercial caterers throughout the festival. This is not available for public use, but you can order catered meals through them.

There are plenty of places to relax, eat, socialise and enjoy both inside and outside, and all kitchens are in close proximity to small lounges/dining areas and tabled outside spaces.

Nearby options

The festival site is only a ten minute drive from Amberley, which has a number of restaurant and fast food options as well as a supermarket. Keep in mind that many of these are closed on Good Friday and Easter Sunday.
