About Us

The Canterbury Folk Festival has been running on Easter since 1976, so we know how to put on a good show!

Fantastic guest artists perform throughout the festival, and also put on interesting workshops for all to attend. There are plenty of opportunities to take part, in our Blind Date concert, as well as open mics and informal jam sessions. A family-friendly event, we have plenty of activities and workshops for all ages.

But you don't have to be a musician to enjoy the festival! We are proud of our friendly, fun and inclusive atmosphere, so come along and enjoy the autumn weather with some friendly folk.
