Camping Info

Overnight Options

The festival site has plenty of camping spots to choose from.

Camping is included with the purchase of a weekend pass (unpowered sites). Powered camp sites are available at an extra cost - add this option when purchasing your ticket.

Other than camping, we have whole cabins and bunk rooms available to book (see WAC website for details) for groups, and single beds in shared bunk rooms are also available.

Dogs not permitted on this camp site (except for registered service dogs).

Bunk Rooms

Each bunk is equipped with a sprung base and a foam mattress. Bedding is not included so be sure to bring your own. As our bunk room spaces are limited, book to ensure availability (purchase this as an add-on when buying your pass). These are an extra $45 per bunk for the festival weekend.

Kitchen Facilities

There are multiple kitchen facilities, one in the upper building (Stedfast), and one in the lower buildings near the campsite (Tui). Tui kitchen is right near bathrooms and has a shared eating and lounge area. This kitchen has a double wall oven, hobbs, extractor fan, pantry, two sinks and a kettle.

Each kitchen has a small fridge/freezer available for use, but it's small – campers are advised to bring chilly bins.

There are plenty of places to relax, eat, socialise and enjoy both inside and outside, not far from the kitchens.

Bathroom Facilities

There are toilets in the lower campground, in the main hall building and in the Stedfast block, close to all festival activities.

There are bathrooms and shower facilities close to all of the bunk rooms and main camping areas. All showers have both hot and cold running water. Modern, accessible bathrooms are available in the Birch Hill Lodge.

Quiet Camping Area

If you're after a quiet night's sleep away from any tunes or festivities, a section of the festival camping area is the festival's designated 'Quiet Camping Area'. This area is found in the top left of the map below, behind the Tui Shelter.
