Rangatahi in the Music Scene is an engaging and supportive workshop for young emerging singers, held by Tahla Ward. This session focuses on building stronger vocal foundations and helping participants better understand basic techniques to improve overall vocals. Tahla will also explore how to respectfully incorporate waiata Māori into your own music sets, sharing the importance of tikanga, storytelling and cultural connection. Beyond technique, this workshop also would like to help performers grow confidence, overcome self-doubt and encourage artists to find THEIR voice to be able to share music with others.
